Egloshayle, Cornwall

My great grandfather Henry's brother Charles and his wife Elizabeth Ann Levers made Egloshayle, near Wadebridge in Cornwall their home.  Charles, like Henry, was a miner.  In addition to mining, the family ran a small shop in Egloshayle (there is a picture of this in my genealogy pages).

These two pictures of Egloshayle were scanned from old antique postcards in the possession of Angela Richards, Charles great grand-daughter who still lives in the village.

I took this digital photograph when on a visit to Angela and her family in April 1998.
