Tuddenham Watermill, Suffolk - 28th September 2005

This structure was erected in 1775 by Collins (no relative), millwrights of Melton.  It has been altered in 1826 and 1855, when the 53 foot chimney was installed for a steam engine.

Former Water Mill, Tuddenham, Suffolk - 28th September 2005 - MTC

The mill worked until 1954, when it became derelict.  In 1972 it was converted into a fine restaurant, although the water wheel, still working, was retained.
