Geraniums at the Salinas Salt Pans, near Maras, Peru - 11th April 2004
I enjoyed the vibrant contrast of the scarlet pelargonium flowers against the white of the salt. The water emerges from the mountain and has been evaporated in these pans for centuries to obtain salt.
