This was rather a frustrating visit - we arrived at 11.55, and by the time we reached the door, discovered it was locked, found and read the notice it was a couple of minutes before noon (see the clock in the photo below). The key is only available from 10.00am until 12 noon during the week - so we were not able to gain access.
Every time I pass this church it always strikes me that the splendid tower and spire is far too massive in comparison with the rest of the building. I retreated to the furthest corner of the church yard to take the picture below, but even on the widest zoom, my camera couldn't get the weather vane in!
