This church, although visible from the main road, is extremely hard to get to. The close proximity to the Lakenheath American airbase made us reluctant to explore further, however I am led to believe their is a way to get to the church, which is today marooned on its graveyard "island" close to the perimeter wire.
Since being made redundant in the 1970s, St Denis has been in the care of the New Beginnings International Church (American Baptist), who are responsible for the hideous portakabins in the churchyard.
