A view of the chapel from the south, which was designed by Sir Arthur William Blomfield in the 1870s.
Unfortunately the National Trust, who now care for the estate, do not permit interior photography, so this engraving from the October 18th 1878 copy of The Building News must suffice.
Here is a view of the chapel along the south side, the entrance to the crypt being at ground level on this elevation. The corridor leading from the house to the chapel is visible to the left of the picture, above the arch.
