Another locked church! Here is a view of this attractive church from a field to the south.
This view from a point slightly further west.
And a view from the east.
And the view of the north side as seen from the road.
This image of a stained glass window in the north wall of nave was photographed from the outside through a plain window on the south side! The inscription reads "To the Glory of God and in memory of the Revnd William Henry Edmeades and Sarah Mary Jane, his wife. This window was given by their three surviving sons, January 1889.
Disappointingly, despite an arranged sponsored cycle ride (in aid of church preservation!) in the area on the date of our visit, this church was found locked shut, even though in the past it was believed this church was normally open. What a terrible welcome!
