Having arrived early for an appointment, I had some time to spare so photographed this Victorian church.
The church of St. John the Evangelist, a stone edifice, in the Decorated style, was erected in 1855-6, at the sole cost of Mrs. Colt. It has a chancel, nave and two transepts, a tower with spire and bell, and stained glass windows. The register dates from 1856.
