Situated on the High Street, the Congregational Church (now United Reformed) was completed in 1866.
From the 1866 Brookers Guide: "Here a substantial Congregational Church was erected in 1866, at a cost of £2,300. It is in the early English style, built of local free stone, with Bath dressings, and contains accommodation on the ground floor for 400 persons."
