The foundation stone reads:
"This foundation stone was laid by Alice Mary Moor to the Glory of God and in loving memory of her husband Gerald Henry Moor, Priest. Vicar of Preston 1905-16, Prebendary of Colworth 1915 Cathedral ?? of  Chichester, ???? 1920"
