The precise location of this chapel is uncertain - but probably in the vicinity of Maresfield, near Duddleswell. A local clergyman, Edward Turner, reported the building had been destroyed by 1850.
This image was published in 'Picturesque views of the Antiquities of England and Wales' compiled by Alexander Hogg and published in 1786. The image appears to show a castle in the right background.
