Hollingrove is a small hamlet to the east of Brightling. This attractive building is now a home, called "Chapel House". The building was designed by Hastings architect, Henry Ward ARIBA who designed the United Reformed Church, Robertson Street, Hastings as well as other chapels around Sussex.

According to this plaque, the building was erected in 1903: "This memorial stone was laid by the Mayor of Hastings, Alderman Tuppenney. J. P. October 20 1903".
