Following a cross on the map, I tried to locate the chapel at the cemetery without success as it has been demolished. A picture of the war memorial will have to suffice!
I revisited on 17th October 2004, and came to the conclusion that the lodge at the gate must have been converted from the former chapel - however I was wrong. A correspondent to this website (David Evans from Melbourne, Australia) in March 2009 confirmed that the chapel was indeed demolished following vandalism and has been replaced by the asphalt car park. If anyone could furnish me with a photograph of the former chapel I would be grateful.
