We came across this tiny church and were really pleased we stopped, as there is an amazing view from the churchyard and the church has much of interest.
There was also a surprise in store - in the chancel there was a bric-a-brac table (visible in the picture), set out with wares to raise funds for the church. We purchased a couple of books and a teapot, glad to help!

Build on a steep hill, the church contains a musicians gallery, apparently the only one surviving in Devon. On this cramped platform the choir and musicians led the music before the introduction of the pipe organ. The gallery is accessed by a tiny, steep stair (behind the chart on the left of the picture).
