This church is situated in Loxhore Town, one of the tree scattered groups of dwellings, that, with out-lying farms, comprise the Parish of Loxhore.

Little remains of the original church save the bases of the pillars in the nave and the piscina in the south wall of the chancel. The church was rebuilt during the 15th century and has been restored several times since. The small building comprises a nave, chancel, north aisle and tower. Originally there was a tympanum between the nave and chancel. Here are two views of the nave looking east and west.

The chancel has two good lancet windows and an unusually narrow two light east window, photograph below.

The aisle is divided from the nave by three bays of wooden piers with no arches. There are wagon roofs throughout with flower and leaf bosses. There are two nicely carved angels in the roof of the nave just in front of the chancel holding ribbons inscribed with "Holy Holy Holy".

The font is octagonal and plain. The bowl is mounted on a thick shaft with a single band of moulding. The 16th century cover has a crocketed top with decorative cable bands. The lectern dates from 1903. Music is provided by a small harmonium.

The tower is two stage, embattled, with pinnacles. There are six bells which were refurbished in 1999 and are in good ringing order. They are small and light, and thus not easy to ring. There is a colourful window in the west wall of the tower, but the screen and ringing equipment prevent an unobstructed view.

The church contains several interesting memorials to the Carpenter and Hammond families. There is a brass in the north wall of the chancel to Richard Carpenter (1627) which has several different types of lettering. The memorial to Edward Hammond (1614) is decorated with cherubs and an urn. Elsewhere there are slabs dated 1632 and 1652 and elaborate monument to Philip Hammond (1704).

The Royal Arms of Queen Ann are on the west wall of the aisle.
